Craig Walker (News - Alert), UberConference CEO and co-founder said in a statement, “Both design and creativity are incredibly important in creating a great user experience—small details can have a huge impact. 'I'm on Hold' was a small finishing touch that Alex came up with over a weekend, but it turned out to be really important to our users because it makes the UberConference experience better even before the call starts.”
UberConference's default hold music, surprising and delighting users since the company's launch and win at TechCrunch Disrupt in May 2012.
The song “I’m On Hold” includes lyrics about the experience of being on hold—from the initial wait where you think nothing. It tells a story of time lost and dreams put on hold. Its catchy, lyrics about waiting for others to join a conference call resonated with customers and livened up the conference calling experience for anyone joining a call early.
Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox includes reworking 21st century pop hits -- from artists such as Miley Cyrus and Beyonce—in a variety of vintage styles.
All UberConference users can choose between a number of default tracks (including Cornell's original version). Pro users have the ability to upload custom hold music.
Recently, Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox released a brand new album this week entitled "Grandpa Style".
