Forming a strategic alliance or partnership in the business world is key for continual growth. For companies that provide similar services, a partnership can play an important role in pushing the organizations, not only to find new markets but to also introduce innovations that are in part inspired by their collaboration. This is just what has taken place between StarLeaf and Solutionz Conferencing, with the latter launching Prime Call Cloud UC, powered by StarLeaf. In this partnership, Solutionz Conferencing will be the U.S. national reseller for StarLeaf, offering its complete portfolio of cloud meeting room, desktop and mobile solutions.
The StarLeaf platform is a flexible solution that delivers video calling and conferencing to everyone from Fortune 500 companies to the smallest of organizations around the world across room systems and applications. By operating its own global video communications network with ten Points of Presence across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, the StarLeaf OpenCloud (News - Alert) gives businesses a powerful, reliable platform for the provision of video conferencing as a service.
“Having a major national channel partner adopt OpenCloud as its own, is yet more proof that we have the most powerful and advanced communication cloud on the market today. With Prime Call Cloud UC now available, Solutionz has unlimited capacity to serve the very largest, right down to the smallest of businesses,” said William MacDonald (News - Alert), CTO, StarLeaf.
It is this platform Solutionz Conferencing has used to develop Prime Call Cloud UC, the first national reseller to white label the StarLeaf OpenCloud platform. This in part was made possible with the new partnership to provide a solution that simplifies the migration to the cloud for companies that still use on premises infrastructure.
With Prime Call, users can make and receive point-to-point video calls and schedule and join video conferences on any video equipment to directly call anyone else on any video system. This type of interoperability is vital in today's remote/collaborative workforce because employees, vendors and partners can be anywhere and on any device or conferencing/video system. And as part of the StarLeaf global infrastructure, Prime Call will have a secure, fully redundant and reliable ecosystem that can easily replace on premises solutions.
“PrimeCall Cloud UC further strengthens our ability to successfully design and deploy scalable conferencing solutions and collaboration spaces for organizations across the United States. StarLeaf OpenCloud, at the heart of PrimeCall Cloud UC, is an exceptional Infrastructure as a Service offering, which is backed by our award winning 24x7 Prime Call HelpDesk and rapid response team,” said Bill Warnick, CEO, Solutionz Conferencing.
Prime Call offers unlimited direct calling with total interoperability covering any hard or soft endpoints, including Skype (News - Alert) for Business, Cisco, Lifesize, Polycom, StarLeaf and others. Some of the other features are encrypted calling, firewall traversal, spam call protection, bi-directional screen sharing, usage and performance reporting and more.
