UberConference Passes 1.5 Million Subscribers

UberConference, the conferencing and collaboration service from Dialpad passed 1.5 million subscribers. Both paid and free plans from the service have seen speedy growth since launching in 2012, with apps available in both the Apple (News - Alert) App Store and Google Play Store.

UberConference offers several attractive features such as messaging, screen, document, and file sharing. Adding to the ease, noisy callers can be muted while another caller can dial-in mid-call. It also provides a clean visual interface for each conference call. This makes participants aware of who’s joined the call as well as who’s speaking. All with no downloads required.
What are some differentiators between paid and free accounts? Paid (News - Alert) clients can have up to 100 call participants, who can be automatically phoned in at the scheduled start time of a meeting, with a dedicated number for all dial-in needs. Businesses, additionally, are given the option to upload custom hold music, receive analytics, and the key draw: it is PIN and access code free.
UberConference free plans get access to multiple benefits which include unlimited conferences, call recording, mobile apps, and can hold up to 10 participants. As for a phone number, free plans share a local phone number with call participants, used to instantly start a conference. However, a PIN is required.
