The Conferencing Zone Week in Review: ClearOne, IMTC, and More

The Conferencing Zone was busy as, no surprise, there is a growing market for videoconferencing while ClearOne (News - Alert) released a native integration for its DIALOG 20. There was so much happening and just in case you missed any of it, here it all is in The Conferencing Zone week in review.

A recent Research Nester study suggested that the global enterprise videoconferencing space will see 7.4 percent compound annual growth through the end of 2023, reaching $7.9 billion.  Additionally, Researchnreport.Com says this space will experience CAGR of more than 7.5 percent by 2025. “Meeting solutions blend communications, collaboration, and content to enable real-time group work from anywhere,” Gartner (News - Alert) writes.

The International Multimedia Telecommunications Consortium (IMTC) announced its merging operations with MEF. IMTC is a non-profit organization focused on developing and using interoperable, real-time, multimedia telecommunication products and services on a global level, hosting testing events worldwide. That includes driving development of conferencing software, hardware and services that allow businesses to maximize their collaborative efforts internally and with customers, partners, and suppliers globally. 

Finally, ClearOne announced the latest small-form-factor DIALOG 20 wireless microphone system is now has ClearOne Native Integration and works with the CONVERGE Pro 2 line of mixers. Integration can be done with a simple software update and the ability to merge the DIALOG 20 with the CONVERGE Pro 2 adds to the ease of the mic and user-friendly nature. "ClearOne is a leader in the microphone space because we deliver what customers will appreciate, often before they even know they want it," Durai Ramachandiran, ClearOne's Senior Director of Product Line Management for Pro Voice and AV Distribution, said.
