Yamaha (News - Alert) UC announced it is officially shipping the Yamaha CS-700 Video Sound Collaboration System for huddle rooms. The system is an all-in-one wall-mounted UC solution for easy installation and deployment for the best in both audio and video for meetings in small areas.
Last week, Revolabs (News - Alert), a subsidiary of Yamaha revealed its product lineup for Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018. This included the CS-700 and Yamaha’s YVS-1000MS Unified Communications (News - Alert) Microphone and Speaker System.
"Bringing together the technology expertise of both Yamaha and Revolabs, the CS-700 provides a dedicated UC platform that doesn't sacrifice on quality and delivers exactly what users and technology managers need to support the growing number of huddle and small meeting room environments,” shared Mick Kamihara, chief executive officer, Revolabs. Every communications concern is covered, from ease of deployment and intuitive end-user operation, to superior audio, video and collaboration capabilities."
The CS-700 brings together audio, video, and collaboration capabilities bringing an all inclusive meeting experience. Included is a beamforming microphone array permitting sound to travel clearly through every end of a room; four Yamaha speaker elements for audio clarity; and a wide-angle HD camera ensuring every meeting participant is visible, regardless of seating arrangements.
Easily connectable to any UC platform, all that is needed is a USB cable. It works with Skype (News - Alert) for Business, Cisco Spark, GoToConference, Zoom, and more as a plug-and-play option. With this option, it provides a self-service element, permitting users to get started without a handful of confusing wires and get going. Yet, IT staff can deploy and remotely manage every unit from a singular location, making a quick fix in a matter of moments.
"The Yamaha CS-700 offers a strong, huddle-room-ready feature set, as well as integrated remote monitoring and management, making it both user- and IT-friendly," said Ira Weinstein, senior analyst and partner, Wainhouse (News - Alert) Research.
