Sonic Foundry (News - Alert) Inc. has made official its new collaboration solution which is ideal for clients seeking custom integration of Mediasite and other technology platforms. The company is taking the next step forward with its announcement of advanced integration services for the Mediasite webcasting and video content management system. With a decade-long experience in providing integration and interface connectivity Sonic Foundry, through this announcement, will directly address the needs of clients looking for a higher level of integration service.
Sonic Foundry is one of the leaders in webcasting and lecture capture solutions. Rob Lipps, executive vice president of Sonic Foundry said, “We look forward to providing a new level of interoperability between Mediasite and the legacy systems prevalent among many of our enterprise clients, as well as new tools emerging daily.”
The team at Sonic Foundry working on this advancement will deploy custom solutions for individual clients. They will also chip in packaged integrations to the user group of Mediasite as a means of bringing down the integration backlog being experienced by a number of educational organizations and enterprises.
Chuck Miller, director of technology, Texas Christian University, Neeley School of Business said, “The team at Sonic Foundry has been very helpful and is helping us to meet a demand from our customers that we couldn't meet otherwise. We conduct onsite land management certification courses for non-students every six weeks, but we're seeing an increased demand from our customer base to provide an online training module. Sonic Foundry will custom-develop an e-commerce module that will allow us to set up an online store with all of the recorded sessions. The land management students will be able to login, purchase the sessions and view the classes online.”
Many organizations lack the resources or internal expertise to take complete advantage of the ever-evolving Mediasite or stay parallel with the development of more complex platforms. Today, this advance in integration has made possible the access of a number of Mediasite capabilities through the Application Platform Interface.
