Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) has awarded Recognition Technologies with the 2011 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for New Product Innovation for its excellent speaker recognition engine. After analyzing the market for speaker verification biometrics, Frost & Sullivan decided to present the award to Recognition Technologies based on the extensive range of applications delivered by speaker recognition engine and also for the high level of customer satisfaction achieved by the product.
In a release, Neelima Sagar, Frost & Sullivan senior research analyst, said that, “In addition, the system is designed with innovative features such as speaker tracking, which follows the voice of an individual speaker through a conversation, and speaker segmentation, which partitions a multi-speaker sample into segments, based on the speaker. Further, the modular design allows for easy integration with third-party components, depending on user requirements.”
Recognition Technologies developed its speaker recognition engine to address the lack of text- and language-independent capabilities in speaker verification technology. Designed for easy customization, the speaker-recognition engine easily adapts to user requirements via its accurate and high processing speed and range of advanced features. The platform can additionally support an extensive number of voice samples and can be scaled up based on requirement.
The engine offers users language-independent recognition with closed set or open set identification and text-independent verification as well as speaker and event classification, speaker detection and tracking and speaker segmentation.
The speaker-recognition engine is available for standalone application for functioning on audio files and combined with RecoMadeEasy interactive voice response (IVR) engine. It can also function along with the RecoMadeEasy Speaker Recognition software development kit (SDK).
Sagar went on to say that, “The quality of service that the company provides, along with its technical expertise and customer support, has enabled it to offer solutions that complement the users' operations. It has a significant product portfolio that protects and facilitates its methods, business models, and solutions.”
