The mobile internet devices are fast catching the fancy of users across the globe. But the operators are yet to device ways with which they can increase the revenue based on these devices. To help them out in this matter, Flash Networks (News - Alert), a global provider of intelligent mobile Internet solutions, released My-i, a phone-top toolbar.
Often, operators will have extremely good content in their hands, but they are not sure of the ways to promote them. Also, providing a a differentiated and branded user experience amongst the clutter of products is extremely important for these operators to survive.
To access relevant content, promoted value-added applications, and personalized notifications, the user can now invoke My-i, which is an un-intrusive, interactive toolbar. My-i Toolbar is a network-based solution which requires no installation on the device itself and is compatible with 3G and 4G next-generation networks and mobile devices. My-i Toolbar provides services such as access to operator optimized search engines; recommended content based on subscribers' interests, demographic segment, and location.
“With the proliferation of smartphones and the collapse of the walled gardens, operators are looking for ways to stay relevant and bring additional value to their subscribers,” said Merav Bahat, vice president of Marketing and Business Development at Flash Networks. “My-i Toolbar provides operators phone-top real-estate which enables them to maintain communication with their subscribers and promote their brand by providing access to relevant content and services, according to users' interests.”
