Lighthouse1 Debuts Lighthouse1 Mobile For Customers to Access Healthcare Account Info

Lighthouse1, a provider of web-based healthcare solutions, has announced the release of the new Lighthouse1 Mobile that will help users access and upload their healthcare account information around the clock from anywhere right from their smartphones.

The solution was unveiled at Partner Conference 2010, an event organized by the strategic and business partners of Lighthouse1.
Lighthouse1 has claimed that their partners and they are saving employers and consumers more than $1.2 billion a year in tax savings and administrative costs and are making a difference in the CDH landscape through innovative applications like the new Lighthouse1 Mobile.
Scheduled for release this fall, Lighthouse1 Mobile will be available for the iPhone (News - Alert) and Android, the two mobile operating systems that have most embraced web and applications use.
Jeff Young, CEO of Lighthouse1 has commented that with Lighthouse1 Mobile, consumers will have even more access to their healthcare benefits and more control over their healthcare spending. Along with their partners, they are poised to continue to reduce costs and simplify the business of healthcare.
The conference also saw the company submit its Benchmark Report, which gives the industry's only benchmark analysis for financial, customer, operational, and team engagement and innovation, comparing each organization to the wide cross-section of third-party administrators, banks and health plans partnered with Lighthouse1.
Officials with the company asserted that in addition to providing a world-class technology platform to their partners, they're helping them grow faster, increase adoption, and serve clients better than the competition. The Benchmark Report gives a tremendous insight into their joint progress.
Lighthouse1 has claimed that the Lighthouse1 platform has been enhanced with new features such as Claims Exchange with Pay the Provider, Online Bill Pay, Contributions from Personal Account, and Copy Plan Year. With Claims Exchange with Pay the Provider, claims from a health plan are validated automatically removing the need for customers to submit receipts. Online Bill Pay provides the option for consumers to enter ad hoc provider information via the Consumer Portal to pay their healthcare bills online using their health savings accounts funds. And Contributions from Personal Account enables transfer of post-tax funds from a personal bank account directly into their HSA via the Consumer Portal on an ad-hoc basis.
