8x8, Inc. (Nasdaq:EGHT), provider of cloud communications and computing solutions, has announced its partnership agreement with Polycom, Inc., a global provider of unified communications. Polycom's IP telephony and conferencing solutions can now be offered to 8x8 (News - Alert) Virtual Office hosted VoIP subscribers.
8x8's, SoundPoint IP 335 desk phone is a high quality, entry-level SIP phone that seamlessly integrates with 8x8's systems to deliver advanced telephony features such as auto attendant, voicemail, Caller ID, call forwarding, conference bridge and Polycom (News - Alert) HD Voice(TM) at an affordable cost.
These phones also include a capability called Voice Quality Monitoring (VQMON), which gives 8x8 the ability to monitor in real-time the quality of a customer's call. This feature helps quickly diagnose customer issues, provide faster problem resolution and ultimately deliver better service.

The Polycom SoundPoint IP 335 desktop phone is available now with 8x8's mainstream Virtual Office service plans and can be ordered directly from 8x8.
