Loip.com announced the launch of a new online voice service consulting platform offering a new business model that uses the “click to talk” technology. The solution enables eCommerce for businesses that currently don’t use the service through Loip.com.
Loip.com is an online consultation platform or a market place, which enables the exchange of information, expertise and personal experience through the click to talk technology. It has improved the feature rich Web site by allowing more functions for enhancing user experience and convenience.
The Flash-based click to talk technology allows Loip.com to offer users an online consultative service without having to reveal phone numbers. Also Loip.com launched its application tool which is a flash-based Loip Web Phone as an iGoogle gadget.
“We are very happy to announce the latest version of Loip,” said James Hou, the founder of Loip.com in a statement. “It’s a platform designed for experts to share their professional experience by providing a voice consultation service in real-time communication regardless of their time and distance.”
Users of Loip.com will benefit from the free resources provided through the discussion and knowledge-based service. People can request for assistance from experts who will respond through click to talk technology. Both parties can communicate in real-time by the click of a button on Web pages without revealing their respective phone numbers.
Also Loip.com allows individual voice service suppliers to determine their own price per minute, field of interest like educational, financial, social or others and also the time when they will be available.
New features have been included like demand board, Q&A, appointment mechanism besides adding a Chinese version of Loip.com. The most important update is the Loip Web Phone application tool, the company said.
Above all, Loip.com links eCommerce and click to talk technology eliminating the need for computer software. Buyers of services will benefit from this direct real-time voice communication without using traditional sources like search engines for finding answers to their queries.
Loip.com employs VoIP technology. This will be a new method to communicate for the online community making real-time communication easy and always available, the company said.
