Working from home has just become easier thanks to Siemens Gigaset Communications. The firm rolled out at the Consumer Electronics Show its all-new suite of handsets, most of which are cordless and Bluetooth-enabled, and all are feature-rich. These units include the following:

 
1. Siemens (News - Alert) Gigaset One 

Gigaset One, Siemens Gigaset conversion technology solution, offers an all-in-one system allowing users to merge home and mobile Bluetooth phone systems into one. Enhanced to work with or without a landline with one time, one touch set up, one can make and receive mobile calls on any corded or cordless handset around the home. With Bluetooth technology and Gigaset One, one can answer their mobile phone from any home phone extension; this new system eliminates poor audio quality or cellular dead zones. Gigaset One allows users to connect up to three Bluetooth mobile phones, each with a unique ring tone. It has a retail price of $99.99.

 

2. Siemens Gigaset SL785

 

Siemens Gigaset SL785 cordless sets have a sleek metal frame and features including a large full color display and full-duplex hands-free, Bluetooth and USB interfaces. These cordless systems can be personalized with sounds and images easily at the click of a mouse with the new Gigaset software QuickSync 4.0. Siemens Gigaset SL785 retails for $189.99.

 

3. Siemens Gigaset SL400

 

The Siemens Gigaset SL400 features an ultra small, metal frame, large full color LCD, large backlighted keys and full-duplex hands-free, Bluetooth and USB interfaces. These cordless systems can be personalized with sounds and images easily at the click of a mouse with the new Gigaset software QuickSync 4.0. This cordless phone system will be available in North America this spring.

 

4. Siemens Gigaset ES5040

 

Providing what Siemens Gigaset said is “comfortable calling with brilliant sound” the corded Gigaset ES5040 has an illuminated keypad with a large key size and a large illuminated display with an adjustable angle. It also has a unique proximity sensor for automatic illumination as well as a visual caller ID. The ES5040 retails from $69.99 and is available at retailers nationwide in this February.

 

5. Siemens Gigaset S790 and S795

 

The Siemens Gigaset S790 and S795 offer high tolerance metal keypads; they can be extended to up to six handsets. A 1.8-inch color display and clearly structured menu with an icon structure provide a quick overview of all the functions. Both systems offer a large address book with space for up to 500 entries and mini-USB interface for quick and easy data synchronization. The Gigaset S795 retails from $139.99.

 

6. Siemens Gigaset C590 and C595

 

Siemens Gigaset phones C590 and C595 feature options for answering machine and a full color display, a unique feature, the firm says, in this category. Equipped with ECO DECT (News - Alert) technology, the new models are energy-efficient – and interference free. The color spectrum of the icon-aided menu on the display (65,000 colors) has been tuned to the color of the device. The Gigaset C590 and C595 retails for $79.99 - $119.99.

 

7. Siemens Gigaset A490 and A495

 

The A490 and A495 offer, Siemens Gigaset is “the industry’s best sound quality in a cordless phone system at a price designed for everyday use.” The A490 and A495 also have hands-free talking and an option for an integrated answering machine. They are fully expandable; they also feature the energy-efficient Siemens ECO DECT technology. The Siemens Gigaset A490 and A495 retails from $29.99-$84.99.
