A multi-year agreement with Symetra Life Insurance Company to license two software products has been entered by CSC (News - Alert). An announcement was made by CSC, provider of technology-enabled solutions and services in this regard. The management of distributor payment and performance tracking will be improved with these software products. The processes in its annuities business will also be streamlined.

CSC's PerformancePlus is a compensation management system, to measure and manage the performance of its national network of distributors. Symetra will deploy PerformancePlus and also implement DST Technologies' AWD. CSC offers AWD, a business process management system to the insurance industry. Symetra is already using the CSC policy administration systems, CyberLife and VANTAGE-ONE. AWD and PerformancePlus will be integrated with these systems.

In a release, Troy Olson-Blair who is the Chief Integration Officer for Symetra said, 'As we expand our distributor relationships and product lines, we need technology that drives operational efficiencies and provides additional capacity for growth. This comprehensive agreement allows us to channel our resources toward platform integration and growth in functionality.'

According to Michael W. Risley who is the President of the Life and Annuity division of CSC's Financial Services Group, CSC technology has been chosen by financial service companies like Symetra to benefit the bottom line. This is done by improving their external and internal processes.
