The newly introduced Tough VoIP Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injector is a network-agnostic solution, in which military communications equipment can be provided with PoE-supported data interfaces.
As a robust, highly-reliable, ruggedized IP-based communications system, PoE serves as the revolutionary new approach to power communication equipment for military use and can also to provide secure Internet data connections. The unique solution designed specifically for military purposes show instant support for most communication equipments. Military personnel can gain added flexibility by integrating data and power supply over a single Ethernet by leveraging the advanced capabilities of the Tough VoIP PoE Injector. Viitaniemi added, military applications and communications equipment are dependent on robust, power-intensive devices, which make the Tough VoIP PoE Injector more critical in tactical use. The deployed Tough VoIP PoE Injector can help gain enhanced military communications with the delivery of broadband data connectivity to the field, vehicles and on-the-ground command posts.
The EB Tough VoIP PoE Injector has the capability to utilize available vehicular power supplies and hence can contribute to significant use in military field environment. By combining vehicular power supplies in the voltage range of 10-30V DC with regular Ethernet data, the PoE Injector not only empowers the system but also delivers PoE-supported Ethernet connection for user devices which can be either be EB Tough VoIP products or third party equipment.
