Aastra VoIP Phones Released for Microsoft Lync

Both the Aastra 6721ip and 6725ip phones are powerful unified communications (UC) devices featuring the embedded Microsoft Lync 2010 Phone (News - Alert) Edition client that offers an unparalleled integration with Microsoft Lync 2010. The two models deliver exceptional quality and value providing users the choice of price and features in a Lync standalone IP desk phone, with both offering dual gigabit Ethernet ports and a message waiting light indicators, according to company sources.

To enable tight integration with Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Aastra 6725ip offers advanced features such as PC connection via a USB cable. Additional features include click-to-dial, which ensures a more efficient call management for business users and team collaboration. Designed to provide a superior user experience as well as encourage the adoption of unified communications, both the Aastra 6721ip and 6725ip phones include an intuitive interface displayed on a full color 3.5-inch LCD screen.
