CallTower (News - Alert), Inc., the leading provider of Always-On, hosted communications and collaboration solutions for businesses, has launched the CallTower Consultant Access Program (CAP). The CallTower Consultant Access Program offers leading North American telecommunications consultants access to hosted telephony services, customer ROI evaluations, RFP development support and valuable education on the rapidly growing, hosted voice and data solutions market.
According to a recently published AMI-Partners’ report titled “SMB Interest Perks Up In Hosted VoIP”, the North America small and medium business (SMB) segment for hosted business-VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is set to reach $416 million this year, up from about $165 million in 2005. Between 2005 and 2010, the cumulative growth rate will reach 56.9%.
The CallTower Consultant Access Program will offer customized information and support that consultants need to understand the needs of clients better, with respect to hosted-PBX and IP-based Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions. This reportedly is the industry’s such program to provide education and sales support focused on hosted voice and data services targeted at the mid-market customer.
“The concept of hosted VoIP is analogous to software-as-a-service (SaaS) where upstarts like Salesforce.com (News - Alert) and NetSuite are gaining rapid adoption. Similarly, the concept of voice communications as a service is becoming very appealing as these small businesses have almost no IT/voice communications expertise and resources”, said Sanjeev Aggarwal, vice president for SMB Infrastructure Solutions, AMI-Partners.
