In a bid to enhance the technology available to corporate clients of the hospitality industry, Guest-Tek, provider IP

based technology for the hospitality industry is offering LifeSize's high-definition video communications system, LifeSize Room.
LifeSize Room offers clear video and reliable audio as well as a high-definition video resolution over any bandwidth-- making global communications and collaboration possible.
Having high-definition video communications capabilities means hotels can offer their corporate clients better quality meetings while also reducing the cost to do so.
According to a news release, Hyatt Regency of Irving California was the first to utilize the LifeSize system and is already realizing significantly improved offerings for clients needing to hold on-property meetings and events. With the system, attendees located at distant locations can participate in the meetings and events as though they are physically present.
With the increased usage of IP services for internet and telephone in hotel rooms and meeting areas, tapping into the same IP connection for video communications helps save money and is a move away from the unsatisfactory conferencing services of the past, where requested service was provided over ISDN

, which was both poor in quality and costly.
Craig Malloy, CEO if LifeSize commented in a statement, "Hotels and their channels can definitely realize substantial business benefits by utilizing the high definition video communications products LifeSize pioneered and perfected."
"In the hospitality industry where offering outstanding service makes all the difference, it is great to see providers like Guest-Tek taking the initiative to ensure this is always the case," also commented Malloy.
LifeSize Room is being provided to Guest-Tek via LifeSize's channel partner, Canadian Communications Products with support for all services.
