Optimum (News - Alert) Online customers are in for a pleasant surprise, for it is offering fast and free Optimum WiFi wireless Internet access across the Garden state in a number of locations and includes parks, restaurants, museums and more in many counties.
It was launched in New Jersey in 2009, and ever since then residents have been exploiting it to the full. A record number of users ranging from first-timers to tech savvy users are getting online at more locations everyday.

The customer enters the Optimum User ID and password and logs into the service. The Automatic Sign in” feature has been added recently. Once the user is logged on,the network takes over. In a related news release, Cablevision Systems Corp. announced the development of a new, first-of-its-kind service, called PC to TV Media Relay, that will allow its digital cable customers to relay whatever information or images currently appear on their computer screen to their television in real-time, without any additional equipment in the home, using only the company’s advanced fiber-rich network.
