Enghouse Interactive Hits ITEXPO Anaheim 2015, Exhibiting Complete Solution Offerings

Enghouse Interactive (News - Alert) offers an integrated suite of solutions from multi-channel contact center, self-service, attendant operator consoles and workforce optimization offerings that bring customers and partners a complete solution they can deploy on premises, via the cloud or even Hybrid.

Scott Logan and Alex Gorrell, both Marketing Directors at Enghouse Interactive, took some time to chat with TMC (News - Alert) recently about the upcoming show, market trends and why UC adoption is still a growing space worth keeping an eye on.

This week, at ITEXPO Anaheim 2015, Enghouse Interactive will be exhibiting at booth #718 in the Skype (News - Alert) for Business Pavilion.

According to Logan and Gorrell, the UC market still has a good fight ahead in the market and the current increase in the space could be a result of what they say is the, “mass entering of millennials in the workplace.”

“They are very used to working with several media channels at once and working in a unified communications environment will enable them to work more efficiently.”

Another important factor they point out is the increased benefits of having offerings that lay over the top of UC’s.

In fact, going into the next year, the pair predicts that in the business communications space alone there is going to be even stronger use of video, live chat and SMS. Again, they reference the increase in millennials entering the workforce.

“Skype for Business has been a real contributor to our business success by enabling us to communicate with our staff around the world in multiple channels in one system.  We’ve had this success because we integrated our software to the Skype for Business platform and related applications.”

Another important communications channel that took the market by storm this year, and is typically associated with millennials, is social media. Logan and Gorrell believe businesses and individuals have truly gone social now and it’s bigger than ever.

“The importance of creating and keeping up your brand (company or personal) is what will dictate your social influence.”

Finally, one cannot talk about the trends influencing the space in 2015 without discussing the cloud.

“Cloud, in its purest form, is taking companies by storm,” the team noted.

“The desire for hosted solutions under subscription pricing is all the hype and has been for a few years. However, most companies still have on premises solutions or have opted to move to a hybrid model. In the end, we predict pure cloud solutions as just one piece of the pie. Many companies still want to or are required to have some of their servers and data on premises for several reasons. This is why we offer all three options for our contact center software: cloud, on premises, and hybrid. However, we have also enabled companies who need on premises or hybrid solutions to purchase in a subscription model with an option the buy-out at the end of the contract. This allows them avoid the large CapEx spend on the front end while providing them the control they desire in a non-pure cloud deployment.”

If you’re interested in hearing more and learning about what Enghouse Interactive and Enghouse Networks have to offer, both companies have booths at ITEXPO (News - Alert) this week and will be showcasing  their complete set of service provider and contact center solutions centered around creating the best customer experience possible while lowering your TCO beyond your expectations.

Enghouse Interactive’s Kyle Howard is also taking part in a session today at ITEXPO that will go over the basics of NFV and map where the industry stands with regards to development, standards, and deployment.
