Dave Pursell of Tudor Pickering Holt to Speak at Women's Energy Network


Oct 27, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Dave Pursell, Head of Macro Research at Tudor Pickering Holt & Co. Securities, Inc., Houston, will be the guest speaker at the November luncheon meeting of the Women's Energy Network (WEN) - North Texas Chapter on Thursday, November 4.



The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Tower Club, Thanksgiving Tower, 1601 Elm Street, 48th floor, Dallas.

Pursell will discuss the events leading up to the recent offshore oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico during his presentation entitled "Macondo: How, Why and Long-term Implications." He will share what he believes could be some enduring effects that the incident may have on the oil and gas industry. His presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

The cost for WEN North Texas members to attend the event is $25 if they register through October 28, and $30 thereafter. The cost for prospective members is $30 if they register for the event through October 28, and $35 thereafter.
