Dave Pursell of Tudor Pickering Holt to Speak at Women's Energy NetworkOct 27, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Dave Pursell, Head of Macro Research at Tudor Pickering Holt & Co. Securities, Inc., Houston, will be the guest speaker at the November luncheon meeting of the Women's Energy Network (WEN) - North Texas Chapter on Thursday, November 4. The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Tower Club, Thanksgiving Tower, 1601 Elm Street, 48th floor, Dallas. Pursell will discuss the events leading up to the recent offshore oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico during his presentation entitled "Macondo: How, Why and Long-term Implications." He will share what he believes could be some enduring effects that the incident may have on the oil and gas industry. His presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session. "We are fortunate to have such a notable speaker as Mr. Pursell, whose responsibility at Tudor Pickering Holt is to determine macro oil and gas strategy, which includes supply, demand and pricing outlooks. During his distinguished career, he has gained seasoned in-depth hands-on experience in the industry as well, so he will bring incomparable expertise to our audience.
