Rand Technology Announces Senior Leadership Team Promotions and Expanded Job Responsibilities

Rand Technology, celebrating 30 years as the world's premier independent electronic sourcing and solutions company, today announced leadership team changes that include promotions and additional responsibilities for four senior executives. These executives have been instrumental in Rand's significant growth across all verticals it has traditionally served and new opportunities emerging in other industries. In addition, changes represent a management restructuring, aligning the company to best address global electronic component supply chain changes now and in the future.

"We have assembled a senior management team that is world class. These changes reflect their acumen, strategic thinking, and hard work which have been instrumental in the continued growth and successes of Rand," said Andrea Klein, Rand Technology's founder and CEO.

Changes include:

  • Jennifer Strawn - Executive Vice President, Global Solutions and Sourcing
Strawn's new title reflects her continued success in leading the conceptualization and implementation of custom, innovative solutions for Rand customers. Formerly the vice president of sales and sourcing, she is assuming increased responsibilities in overseeing global sales and sourcing and in bringing new European facilities online in the near future.
  • Doug Schilletter - Executive Vice President, Global Operations
Schilletter's global operations responsibilities have been expanded to include product testing, quality assurance and additional aspects of the company's IT asset distribution processes. He will provide leadership in bringing the aforementioned new European facilities online.
  • Kevin Sheehan - Chief Information Officer
Sheehan has served under the CFOsince joining Rand three years ago but becomes a direct report to the CEO. With more than 25 years of IT/IS experience, he is responsible for the company's IT-related initiatives and infrastructure. In his expanded role, Sheehan will oversee the IT department and assume additional project management duties.
  • Kim Fix - Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives

Formerly Rand's COO of the Americas and EMEA, Fix is shifting her focus to new strategy and business initiatives. She will support the evaluation, integration, launch, and ongoing success of new strategic growth that strengthens the company's capabilities across its commerce, content, and community building efforts as a key thought leader/partner.

"This is an exciting time in the company's evolution as we expand our global footprint and enhance our capacity to continue providing world-class services to an ever-growing client base," added Frederick Fu, Rand Technology's president, APAC (Asia-Pacific) region.

The senior management team changes are effective immediately.
