Andersen Welcomes Tony Brown as Managing Director in US National Tax PracticeAndersen welcomes Tony Brown as a Managing Director in the US National Tax (USNT) practice in Washington, D.C. Tony has more than 40 years of tax consulting and transactions experience. "Tony brings incredible depth to our USNT team through his role as a senior advisory partner on several major clients in the Greater Washington market, and through his background in REIT, UpREIT, Up-C, and MLP structures," commented Ellen MacNeil, Managing Director of US National Tax for Andersen. Throughout his career, Tony has led outbound and inbound real estate transactions, private partner conversions, and public offerings. Tony has extensive experience in structuring private equity funds in multiple industries to accommodate U.S. taxable investors, U.S. tax-exempt investors, foreign investors, and qualified foreign pension funds. Tony joins Andersen from EY where he was a part of the national transaction tax practice.
