Nokia (News - Alert) and Amazon have joined forces on a healthy collaboration, benefitting Nokia Health device and Amazon Echo owners. By integrating the two, Alexa will retrieve your data from the Health Mate and give it to you on command, according to a tweet from Nokia Health.

Alexa can also be fused with Nokia smart scales, trackers, and Nokia Sleep, which was just introduced. As for the Health Mate, it became available for purchase in the USA and UK beginning January 8, 2018. It includes several great features for health-conscious users:
- Ways to a healthier heart thanks to an in-depth blood pressure report, which can be analyzed by a doctor
- A pregnancy tracker, personalized to your situation, including weight tracking
- Sleep smarter to help develop ways to improve sleep practices and ultimately become healthier and happier
- Better body to lose weight and
- Leaderboard to compete with family and friends.
The app can easily be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google (News - Alert) Play. Nokia also unveiled the Nokia Sleep, a mattress pad with a highly advanced built-in censor. It sits beneath the actual mattress and is powered by Wi-Fi which is the link to Alexa to collect sleep data. It monitors sleep cycles and snoring patterns and can be programmed to dim the lights and change the room temperature upon falling asleep.
The Nokia Sleep sensor will begin shipping in Q1 2018, with a retail price of $99.95.
