WorldGate, a provider of digital voice and video phone services, has introduced the Ojo Vision digital video phone, the next generation in voice and video over broadband, or "VoBB," communications services.
Officials with WorldGate said that the new Ojo Vision features plug-and-play installation, a sleek design, brilliant high-resolution seven-inch screen with high-fidelity audio and stunning "Ojo Quality" video performance.
Company officials said that WorldGate's newest offering also features a robust suite of VoIP telephony features and rich multimedia applications along with advanced networking technology that delivers an unprecedented user experience--all at an affordable cost.
"We believe Ojo Vision is aligned with the market's increasing appetite for high-quality, IP-based video telephony due to the proliferation of broadband services, almost complete reliance on real-time multimedia communications, and the meteoric rise of social media," said George E. Daddis, Jr., CEO of WorldGate, in a statement.
Daddis said that the positive user feedback the company has received reinforces that WorldGate's product line is industry-leading in ease of installation and best in class in video and audio call quality.
"As video telephony continues to gain mainstream adoption we are well positioned to take advantage of these market conditions," he added.
Company officials said that Ojo Vision is scheduled for general availability in the near future through WorldGate and WorldGate authorized channel partners.
Monthly calling plans, including features and rates will be announced concurrent with the commercial availability of the Ojo Vision, company officials said.
