Thomas L. Cardella Announces Expansion and Added Jobs for Iowa Contact Center

Thomas L. Cardella & Associates has announced today that the company has signed two new contracts that will add 80 new positions in their Coralville, Iowa contact center. This expansion is a positive boost to the local economy, while also further strengthening the value of domestic contact center growth.
The company plans to offer 50 positions for a major office retail firm. These positions will offer a beginning pay of $12 an hour and will average $15 an hour with bonus and commissions.
Thomas L. Cardella & Associates will also open 30 positions for a major educational institution that will start at $14 an hour with pay increases in the first year that will take the hourly wage from $17 an hour to $20 an hour.

“We expect to announce the location of our fourth call center right after the Labor Day holiday,” Cardella continued. “We expect our fourth call center to employee up-wards of 225 individuals, and we are in the final stages of contract negotiations with the two clients that will take the space in our fourth location.”
Founder of Access Direct and former Chairman and CEO of PRC, Cardella founded Access Direct in Iowa in 1995 and launched a Coralville call center in 1999. Access Direct quickly grew to 2,000 employees and brought in over $160 million in payroll from 1995-2000 to the state of Iowa. In 2000, the company was sold to IAC/InterActiveCorp.
