TalkPoint, a company that offers cloud-based, self-service webcasting technology, recently announced that it has been awarded with the 2014 Global Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) Award for Customer Value Enhancement. Frost announced the winner on the basis of recent analysis of the webcasting services market.
"Of particular value is TalkPoint's Convey, a self-service, full-feature webcasting solution that offers enhanced mobile support, a rich editing studio and scalable broadcasting of up to 10,000 participants," said Frost & Sullivan industry director Roopam Jainm in a statement. "The ease with which Convey integrates with any video conferencing device is a key benefit to attracting customers."
TalkPoint’s Convey solution allows clients to create and run a webcast in five easy steps. The solution can be viewed and managed on any computer, laptop and mobile device through a single URL, all in the browser. Powerful and robust, it allows automated video signal acquisition from a client’s existing telephone line, webcam, video conferencing unit or encoder.
From a desktop, conference room or production studio, clients can leverage their existing investment in unified communications. Every VCU endpoint, webcam and telephone becomes a webcast broadcast station with no additional capital investment required. Convey is flexible enough to accommodate presentations as small as 50 participants to large, global meetings with an audience of 10,000. It’s feature-rich with audio, video, PowerPoint slides and all the necessary interactivity of polling, surveys, Q&A and social media.
"This ability to deliver simplicity with uncompromised functionality has popularized TalkPoint's solutions," added Jain. "Low-priced, subscription-based licenses for the Convey self-service webcasting solution have also contributed to the company's success."
In related news, Convey was recently named the winner of TMC’s (News - Alert) 2014 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award. The award honors exceptional products and services that facilitate voice, data and video communications brought to market in the last twelve months.
