Integrated Broadband Services has expanded its customer call center and relocated to a new and larger facility in Cartersville, Ga. IBBS (News - Alert) completed this move in response to an increase in both customers and personnel.

According to David Keil (News - Alert), chief executive officer of IBBS, the company moved their customer call center to a larger facility that is more suited to accommodate the increase in staff. Even though the new site is located only a few miles from IBBS’ old facility, this move is highly significant in regard to the value their software and services provide to cable operators around the world.

Keil said that even in the midst of the global economic crisis, IBBS added 30 new members to its customer service team in response to an addition of new customers. In addition, IBBS also introduced a number of new, state-of-the-art solutions which have been well-received by broadband professionals worldwide. IBBS is looking forward to providing the best tools and service in the industry for years to come.

IBBS has developed commercial services packages that include business-class products as well as applications that small and mid-size enterprises have indicated they would like to receive in a hosted manner. After acquiring Parasun Technologies in October 2008, IBBS introduced an advanced version of its Broadband Explorer (News - Alert) software (BBX 4.6), launched a Commercial Services offering and also increased the number of high-speed data (modems) supported to more than 750,000.

Commenting on the development, Suzanne Dunham, senior vice president of customer care at IBBS stated that their company’s strengths lie in having the call center located in Cartersville, where they have access to graduates from several technical schools, a wealth of local talent as well as a highly supportive community. Dunham went on to add that since most of the employees are Cartersville residents, IBBS has been able to develop a strong bond and work ethic that translates into the dedicated care the company provides to its customers.

IBBS provides mission-critical OSS software and services for cable operators and broadband Internet Service Providers throughout the world. The key products of IBBS include customer care and support service and the broadband explorer, a software platform that enables operators to rapidly launch new revenue generating services, provide excellent customer care and ensure high levels of network availability while minimizing capital and operational expenses.
