Novell Cloud Manager happens to be the first ever solution to allow IT administrators package, price and present IT services on-demand through a customizable interface. Thus, Novel Cloud Manager allows the customers to leverage the benefits of cloud computing sans the security and compliance risks currently associated with public clouds.
According to a recent survey conducted on more than 200 IT professionals at large enterprises, Private Cloud Computing has been perceived as the next logical stop for IT management that can span across a heterogeneous infrastructure. Despite this over 90 percent of the respondents conveyed their concerns about the inherent security risks associated with public clouds environment. Novell stepped in to address these challenges.

According to Novell Cloud Manager makes a single, comprehensive console for the users including business unit leaders, application teams and IT management. The solution can be used to request, approve, manage and report on IT services across their entire infrastructure. According to its maker, its hypervisor-agnostic architecture is just ideal for today’s business environment, where enterprises are increasingly deploying a mix of hypervisors in their data centers.
