Satworx a provider of satellite phone communications announced that it is offering the new light weight satellite phone IsatPhone Pro at a reduced price.
Company sources added that the IsatPhone Pro is a light weight global satellite phone which weighs only 9.8 ounces. The satellite phone will be powered by Inmarsat (News - Alert)-4 satellites and serviced by Satworx.
Satworx proposes to offer the special priced satellite phone to businesses and customers as it is keen on promoting satellite phones as a more practical option for facilitating communications. The phones are designed and built to be rugged enough to brave severe conditions anywhere in the world.

The phone is built with an intuitive GSM-style interface besides including a high-visibility screen. The large keypad makes it operable even with gloves on. This makes it suitable for adventure seekers and workers in remote locations who require reliable communications.
Satellite phone usage has increased as many companies are expanding their businesses into remote areas across the globe and more people prefer adventure traveling. It also aids in disaster-readiness plans that also requires reliable communication. With around 1.1 million people already subscribing for satellite phones last year the market shows more promise, said Satworx sources.
“The world’s lightest satellite phone just got lighter on your wallet,” commented Sean McCready, Marketing Director, Satworx.
“By offering the IsatPhone at the most affordable price point, we know that the technology will be open to more businesses that send their employees to remote locations and individuals who live in areas where having a satellite phone can make the difference in saving lives in an emergency,” McCready added.
The availability of a satellite phone allows users to travel, work or live confidently as they can be assured that in case of an emergency, their satellite phones will instantly connect them to emergency personnel. Company sources added that all Satworx satellite phones come with 24-hour technical support and online account access.
