Youcalc has added support for Google (News - Alert) Apps by listing its on-demand analytics application on the Google Apps Marketplace. Users will now be able to monitor and analyze Web site traffic statistics from Google Analytics, marketing campaign data from Google AdWords, or sales pipeline data from Salesforce.com (News - Alert), from within Google Apps without having to log in to the Youcalc website. Youcalc also allows users to run analytics from within iGoogle, Google Sites, Salesforce.com, Microsoft (News - Alert) SharePoint and mobile devices.

 

According to Rasmus Madsen, CEO of Youcalc, sales, marketing and operations people don’t usually log in to complex business intelligence applications to get their daily performance report or analysis. Usually analytics and business intelligence are used by experts. This is mainly because the information is not easily accessible to typical business users. Madsen added that Youcalc now let’s business people run easy-to-use reporting and analysis from within Google Apps. Youcalc is a cloud-based business analytics application which allows ordinary business users to connect to live data from on-demand systems and perform real-time analytics and reporting.

 

The Google Apps Marketplace makes it easy for Google Apps customers to discover, purchase and deploy integrated business applications and related professional services. These cloud applications integrate with user account and application data stored in Google Apps to provide a simpler user experience, increase business efficiency and reduce administrative overhead.

 

As Youcalc is available from Google Apps Marketplace, Google Apps administrators are able to easily roll-out Youcalc to multiple users on a Google Apps domain. From Google Apps Marketplace, it is also possible to insert links to Youcalc into Google's universal navigation. This in turn allows Google Apps users to start their favorite Youcalc apps from the Google top navigation. When a user clicks a Youcalc link in the Google top navigation, he will be automatically signed in to Youcalc.

 

According to Scott McMullan, Google Apps Partner Lead for Google Enterprise, Google Apps is pleased to have Youcalc in the Google Apps Marketplace. Google Apps customers now have the ability to integrate and analyze data not only from Google services like Analytics and AdWords but also from other software-as-a-service systems.
