CloudWorx, CenturiSoft Transform Traditional Business Communication with SMS
In an effort to bring a short message service (SMS) text messaging feature to both traditional and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) numbers, CloudWorx Solutions has inked a strategic partnership with unified communications (UC) systems provider CenturiSoft.
Texas-based CloudWorx Solutions is an integrated service provider managing local exchange carrier and network service company called broadlinkone to deliver cloud, voice, and data solutions to small-to-midsized businesses (SMBs) nationwide. Its services cater to businesses in the insurance, hospitality, healthcare, institutional, high tech, and non-profit sectors.
CenturiSoft, which joined hands with CloudWorx Solutions, develops and deploys UC systems to traditional telco environments and sophisticated VoIP providers. It has 25 years of experience in offering Voice Messaging Systems.
According to sources, the joint development efforts of CloudWorx and CenturiSoft will deliver business SMS messages that will work across standard legacy phone systems and next generation VoIP services.
The enterprise SMS will be layered on broadlinkone's cloud-based UC platform and integrated with VoIP or traditional voice service to allow any mobile user to send text messages to a broadlinkone SMS-enabled business number.
With the help of this joint solution, text messages can be delivered to any email address or text destination, while recipients have the ability to reply via email, alike standard text messages.
Currently broadlinkone's communication solution for SMBs offers: cloud solutions like private cloud, hybrid cloud, network VPN, secure storage, fax-to-email; high speed Internet solutions like firewall, private networks, broadband; voice solutions like hosted PBX (News - Alert), voice lines, SIP trunks, universal number SmartRecord; and more.
"We are excited to expand our partnership with CenturiSoft," said Scott Miller, executive vice president of sales and engineering for CloudWorx Solutions, in a statement. "The CenturiSoft Unified Communications (News - Alert) System is one of the first platforms to enable SMS text messaging to be delivered to traditional or VoIP numbers."
Mark Moats, CEO and president at CloudWorx Solutions, added, "Broadening our reach with CenturiSoft will help us provide a comprehensive and dynamic productivity ecosystem for our small business customers."
CenturiSoft’s Centuri Messenger provides users with a virtual receptionist that monitors calls by schedule. The solution can receive fax and voicemails on line with no phone charges, while also schedule conferences and telephone meetings. In addition, it can even transfer callers to automatic caller distributors (ACD) and uniform caller distribution systems. Above all, users can have Web access to their account information.
