Aculab's ApplianX QSIG-to-SIP Gateway Avaya Compliant

Aculab (News - Alert), a provider of telephony products to the global communications market, recently announced that its ApplianX QSIG-to-SIP gateway is now ‘Avaya compliant’. The solution from Aculab is compatible with Avaya (News - Alert) Aura Communication Manager 6.2 and Avaya Aura Session Manager 6.3 solutions.

ApplianX QSIG-to-SIP gateway enables enterprise customers to extend the life of their DPNSS-based PBXs, whilst being able to gain advantage from new IP PBX (News - Alert) solutions. Tailored to perform call control and supplementary services conversions, the gateway enables the interconnection of DPNSS and QSIG based TDM systems without the loss of supplementary features.

Acculab has recently announced expanded TTS capabilities by including a third TTS engine powered by IVONA Software.

Because the service is cloud-based, businesses can access the platform from any location with only a small monthly fee, without having to own or operate any of the necessary TTS server equipment.
