Cedar Point (News - Alert) to Preview Increased Business Services Capabilities at CANITEC April 23-25 in Mexico City

Cedar Point Communications, a provider of integrated VoIP switching technologies for service providers and enterprise telecom operators, is expanding its business service capabilities.

Details about the expanded services will be presented at Expo Convention CANITEC in Mexico City this week.

Cedar Point will display a variety of features for its SAFARI C3 Multimedia Switching System along with its existing applications and find-me/follow-me, click to call, and billing functionalities. These applications help to simplify business communication.

Also being introduced is a SAFARI C3 business service portal for small and medium business (SMB) customers and telecommunication service providers for customization of their services.  SAFARI C3 can support large number of lines and commercial service groups (CSGs).

"With early voice rollouts already proving their value, operators throughout the Americas are evaluating switching solutions that can simultaneously meet the needs of residential and higher-margin business customers," said Chris Zanyk (News - Alert), vice president of sales for Cedar Point’s North American regional activities, in a statement. "The capabilities we are previewing at CANITEC have been designed to address the needs and future plans that have been shared with us by customers throughout the Americas."

Cedar Point has reached nearly four million SAFARI C3  lines to customers across America, the Caribbean and also places in Europe. SAFARI C3 supports approximately 200,000 lines of capacity in less than a cubic yard of space. Also, it is being used for residential and business services by a diverse customer base like cable system operators, competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs), incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs), wireless operators and universities.
