It’s a busy and fun filled day here at the Miami Beach Convention Center for TMC’s ITEXPO (News - Alert) East, which is collocated with the highly anticipated Smart Grid Summit.
On Wednesday, the show’s first, the Smart Grid Summit’s sessions, featuring panel speakers from Cisco (News - Alert), Alcatel-Lucent, the Current Group and more. What a packed house it was! Some of the most highly attended sessions of the day, no doubt about that.
And today’s Smart Grid Keynote, is sure to follow suit.
To be held at 1:00 p.m., Colorado State University’s Ronald M. Sega, vice president for energy, environment and applied research with the universitys research foundation will discuss key trends and the future of smart grid technology and the emergence of utilities and major corporations.
In addition to Sega, Redline’s Kevin Suitor, Secure Smart Grid Association’s John R. Ryan and Fujitsu (News - Alert) Laboratories of America’s Ryusuke Masuoka, will also compel – what I am sure will be a full – audience, information on how companies can advance their interests in the smart grid.
Stay tuned for feedback after I attend the keynote.
