Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) today announced that Rusty Williams, CIO of the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, a leading health services organization with more than 17,000 employees, will Join ShoreTel’s (News - Alert) Kevin Gavin in a keynote address at ITEXPO, on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 3:30 p.m., in the Los Angeles Convention Center. In this session, ShoreTel’s vice president of marketing, Kevin Gavin, will share his views on unified communications, and discuss complexity in today’s IT and communications environment. He’ll also share his views on how industries evolve and reach a point where the complexity of the past is alleviated by innovation, and how new technology can transform people's lives.

Gavin will be joined by Williams, who heads up all technical and operational activities pertaining to information services, including creating and maintaining a corporate information services strategic direction. He will share his experiences on how simplifying communications at his organization will empower more than 17,000 employees across the United States, and offer insight on key areas that audience members should address when evaluating unified communications.

Williams has spent the last 28 years working in healthcare serving in different software development and management positions. Previously, he has held senior information technology positions for global organizations including Adventist Health Systems and Dynamic Control/Baxter, Inc. He holds a master’s degree from Colorado Technology University, and undergraduate degrees in business and computer science from Southern Missouri State University.

The October ITEXPO event will be the 22nd edition of the show since its launch in 1999 – and it promises to be the biggest and best to date.
