VOSS Solutions Announces the Availability of VOSS 7.4

 VOSS (News - Alert) Solutions, provider of unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) service delivery and management software, announced the general availability of VOSS 7.4, a scalable fulfillment management platform that overarches complex UC&C networks for managed service providers and large enterprises.

VOSS 7.4 supports the latest release of Cisco’s (News - Alert) UC applications, including Unified Communications Manager 8.6 and its advanced suite of voice and mobility features; Unity Connection 8.6 and its advanced suite of messaging features; Unified Presence 8.6; Cisco WebEx; and Unified Mobility Clients and Cisco devices like the Cisco CIUS.

With VOSS 7.4, VOSS Solutions is releasing its latest integrated UC&C management technology at the same time that Cisco releases its UC applications update so that Cisco UC applications are supported by VOSS management.

VOSS has been selected by Cisco to provide the UC&C fulfillment management component for Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) and VOSS 7.4 supports the latest HCS 8.6 requirements.

VOSS 7.4 not only simplifies the delivery and management of UC&C services and applications through a centralized administration portal, it enables organizations to make radical operational savings at the same time.”

VOSS 7.4 enables flexible deployment models. When choosing a UC&C deployment model, most enterprises want cloud-based applications along with supporting their legacy environment. VOSS 7.4 allows service providers and enterprises to centrally manage large numbers of customers or business units, each with a ‘hybrid’ mix of UC&C network infrastructure and applications, combined with cloud-based applications.

VOSS 7.4 allows integrating dial plan management with UC&C applications to improve mobility. VOSS 7.4 supports a range of the latest Cisco and third-party mobility clients, including Dual mode, Android (News - Alert), and Nokia clients.  It also enables unparalleled UC&C collaboration. VOSS delivers and manages all UC&C applications and services including voice, video and web conferencing, voicemail, and instant messaging. VOSS 7.4 also includes Cisco WebEx collaboration, providing a package of UC&C applications, including web and audio conferencing.

Systems integration with multiple business systems are also supported by VOSS 7.4.VOSS 7.4 abstracts business-relevant service configuration from the underlying technology to provide a common administrative experience to simplify integration into other systems irrespective of the underlying technology. With advanced APIs and integration methodologies, VOSS enables the UC&C platform to be integrated into billing, inventory and order entry systems.
