Unified communications (UC) software provider Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST)’s CX-E UC platform has completed the first phase of the Mitel third-party partner interoperability test certification process called as self-assessment testing (SAT).
Formerly known as CallXpress, AVST’s (News - Alert) CX-E UC platform extends existing telephone systems, e-mail solutions and data infrastructure to bring productivity-enabling applications to employees, while preserving existing, as well as future, IT investments.
Since 2004, AVST is a Mitel (News - Alert) Solutions Alliance partner. With more than three decades of experience in UC solutions, it has demonstrated expertise integrating with Mitel's solutions.
AVST’s new Mitel communications director (MCD) interoperability certification indicates that MCD using SIP and MiTAI protocols now work seamlessly with CX-E mobile, voice and business process applications.
With the completion of SAT process, AVST and Mitel will work toward completing the Mitel-Compatible Test (MCT) process, cited a press release.
Currently, AVST’s CX-E UC platform supports: more than 400 traditional time division multiplexing (TDM), IP-PBX (News - Alert), and centrex integrations; multiple telephony integration protocols including SMDI, SIP; integration with multiple telephone systems; multiple and disparate email clients and stores; and all types of data network topology.
Built on multi-server architecture to minimize points of failure, AVST’s CX-E UC platform features database replication that protects against database failures within the system.
Supporting distributed, centralized, hybrid architecture, AVST’s CX-E UC platform has single administration interface for voice, speech, unified messaging and fax.
Certified with VMware vSphere 4, AVST’s CX-E UC platform addresses unified messaging issues with compliance, confidentiality and capacity.
At an event, AVST will demonstrate Atom, which is AVST’s total office manager that is available on the CX-E platform. The Atom acts as the round-the-clock office manager, performing everyday business tasks through a multi-lingual speech personal assistant, unified messaging and a secure mobile client.
