Mitel Wins National Joint Powers Alliance Contract

Mitel (News - Alert), a company that provides business communications solutions, recently announced that the company has won the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) contract for telecommunications, wireless, and related equipment and services for second time.

The NJPA is a public agency serving as a member-focused cooperative for nearly 50,000 member agencies throughout the United States. As a result, the government, education and non-profit members of NJPA program will be able to access communications and collaboration products, contact center solutions and cloud services from Mitel.

In related news, Mitel announced the launch of its MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS offering for channel partners in Canada. The product offers comprehensive communications solutions as a cloud-based service to both cloud communications partners and telecommunications carriers. Mitel (News - Alert) has already enlisted a growing list of business partners in Canada to provide the solution and continues to recruit more.
