AtHoc Announces Next General Crisis Management App is Available on Cisco's CUCM

AtHoc is already known as a leader when it comes networked crisis communications. Late last week, the firm took a step toward solidifying that standing with the announcement that its next generation crisis communications platform has officially been made available for the Cisco (News - Alert) Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) capable phone handsets. This move is another in what is now a longstanding partnership between the two firms.
In particular, this new agreement is directed toward safety and security for smart-connected enterprises and other entities in the business community. The new product is being offered through the usual channels at both AtHoc and Cisco, and it offers a secure, cloud-based service that allows companies to communicate and collaborate with other firms in times of crisis.
There are all kinds of public and private companies that are using the Cisco IP phone systems, and this expansion of the two firms’ partnership means that AtHoc can now extend their offerings to companies that might have been left wanting when it came to this kind of communication application before.
"Cisco customers now can take full advantage of the advanced capabilities we offer, delivering critical alerts through a variety of channels without having to rip and replace devices in which they have heavily invested," Sanjay Saini, AtHoc Senior Vice President said in a recent release.
This is just the latest in a string of moves that AtHoc has made over the last few months in order to make itself a stronger company. The firm has been changing up the makeup of its top level executives for most of last year. The company seems to now have a stable of leadership at the top it feels comfortable working with, but the firm clearly felt there was a need for changes. If partnerships like the one it has strengthened with Cisco is any indication, it appears the new management team has hit the ground running.
