Mitel Lands Competitive Strategy Innovation and Leadership Award

Awards are a great way to broadcast to potential customers—and even current customers—that a company's product line is particularly worthwhile. It's a way to note that someone, particularly the award's issuer, has analyzed a product against a slate of others and determined that product to be superior. When Frost & Sullivan is handing out the awards, people take notice, and that's what recently happened to Mitel (News - Alert).
More specifically, Mitel landed Frost & Sullivan's Competitive Strategy Innovation and Leadership Award, mostly on the strength of Mitel's recent work in hosted Internet protocol (IP) and unified communications as a service (UCaaS) options as part of the MiCloud suite. MiCloud is currently offered throughout Europe and North America, reports note, and MiCloud's tools are front and center for many users.
Cloud-based services are increasingly prized in businesses, and businesses want a clear way to get ahead of the pack. With Mitel's operations—as noted by Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) in its Best Practice Research reports—users get access to “...effective strategy and strong execution, competitive differentiation, compelling customer purchase and ownership experiences, and a powerful brand.” Mitel was also notably cited for its fast growth, which was above the industry average, as well as its growing international operations, which made it available to step in for businesses of any size.
What's more, as detailed by Frost & Sullivan North American program director for connected work Elka Popova, Mitel “...stands out among hosted IP telephony and UCaaS solution providers with its diversified platforms and cloud services portfolio.” Popova also noted “As the market matures and competitors with less robust portfolios or unsustainable business models fail to thrive, Mitel is well positioned to capture further market share.”
Perhaps the biggest advantage to Mitel is its sheer versatility. Delivering not only an array of services to users, but also delivering those services in a variety of places, Mitel's value doesn't just stop at one particular service or in one particular market, it transcends borders and markets to deliver a great value package in one handy setup. Throw in the recognition of Frost & Sullivan, and anyone left who might be on the fence about this likely won't be much longer; Frost & Sullivan's word is trusted on a sizable number of fronts, so the end result will likely mean that a high-quality product line will get the notice it deserves.
Awards add a note of credibility to just about any product release, and Mitel's is no different. Thankfully, Mitel's product line was already top-notch; this award just confirms what a lot of businesses already know about it.
