Avotus CEO Offers Update at ITEXPO
February 17, 2017
ITEXPO (News - Alert) earlier this month provided a great opportunity for me to check in with Avotus CEO James Martino for a quick update. Here’s what he had to say.
He said that the company’s unified communications reporting platform is now integrated with 130 legacy PBXs and also integrated with all major UC provider solutions. That includes integrations with Avaya (News - Alert), Cisco, GENBAND, Microsoft, and other UC solutions.
The Avotus solution, he said, can capture every session, provide visibility about how long a call was, the quality of calls, and more. The solution also shows whether screen sharing occurred, he added.
That makes Avotus (News - Alert) a good solution not only to provide visibility into the specific usage and use patterns of a business communications system, but also to ensure regulatory compliance related to HIPPA and SOX, to provide risk mitigation, and to address security.
And the solution looks at more than just voice, Martino said. It also looks at all kinds of communications types that exist under the UC umbrella.
“Communications data is becoming a valuable input to this blossoming area of big data analytics,” Martino noted. “This provides carriers with an opportunity to have a deeper and more solution-oriented relationship with their customers.”
Avotus has a partnership with TrustSphere that Martino previously mentioned propels its Enhanced Usage Reporting platform into the heart of the big data space.
“This deal validates Avotus’ vision of seeing the rich data capture ability of EUR becoming a valuable hub for those delivering big data analytics,” he said. “By deploying the TrustSphere Platinum product with EUR, clients can now analyze relationships within an organization and between employees and company vendors and clients in a useful way. EUR completed the puzzle for TrustSphere.”
Avotus delivers this solution both through service providers and via its platform provider partners such as Cisco (News - Alert) and GENBAND.
