Frontier Communications Named Mitel's Top US Partner for Sixth Consecutive Year

Frontier Communications has customers in 29 states for the data, video and voice services it provides to its commercial and consumer customers. The integration of digital communications solutions has allowed the company to grow even more, which in part was made possible when it standardized its business customers on Mitel (News - Alert)'s voice and unified communications solutions in 2010. And since that time, it has become the top U.S. business partner for Mitel for the sixth consecutive year.

The partnership between Mitel and Frontier Communications goes back 27 years. And as an authorized partner, Frontier has been providing Mitel's comprehensive communications solutions to its customers. Frontier has also received the designation of Mitel Specialist in the strategic areas of cloud communications, contact centers and hospitality. The installation sites by Frontier include public and private universities, hospitals, municipalities and multi-sized businesses throughout the United States.

MiCloud delivers hosted voice and UCC to SMBs, enterprises and Fortune 500 companies globally. The solutions include MiCloud Office, Business, Enterprise, Contact Center and Service Providers.

With more than three million cloud subscribers, Mitel says it is the largest provider of cloud business communications in the world. The company also serves more than 60 million business users in over 100 countries.

The Mitel Unified Communications (News - Alert) & Collaboration (UCC) is also part of Frontier's portfolio of services. Mitel has continually developed business communications solutions spanning more than four decades. The UCC service has core software, phones, headsets and applications for contact centers and mobile capabilities. It can be delivered on premises or in the cloud to avoid the capital expenditure of hardware and servers.
