Unified Communications Week in Review: Frontier, BroadSoft, TPx & TrustedSky

Welcome back to the week in review, where we take a look at all the top stories making headlines in Unified Communications this week.
The week started off with the news that Frontier Communications Corp. has expanded its cloud VoIP services in order to stay afloat. After a rough few years, the service provider has announced that its Frontier AnyWare cloud-based VoIP service is now available in 50 states. In the announcement, the company also noted that the offering is powered by Mitel (News - Alert) technology. Find out more HERE.
Meanwhile, BroadSoft (News - Alert) made headlines by announcing that its UC-One application made the Constellation ShortList for enterprise group messaging solutions for Q3 2017. The “ShortList” is comprised of pioneers, industry leaders and influential firms in the evolution of enterprise communication and collaboration. Find out why UC-One was chosen HERE.
Next up, TPx chose to strengthen its offering by joining TrustedSky, an association made up of service providers in the cloud and unified communications (UC) market. Through this partnership, TPx will be making TrustedSky Beacon software available to its agent partners. Finally, the week rounded out with the news that Arkadin (News - Alert) has received two awards for demonstrating excellence in the UC space. The first award, the 2017 Communications Solutions Products of the Year award, came from TMC (News - Alert).
