In the cloud communications space, it is two things: competitive and active. In this arena providers are tasked with offering customers comprehensive offerings, fit to meet business demands, and do it better than “the other guy.” Today, a UCaaS provider touting a presence in more than 23,000 businesses around the world, and over 300,000 seats made a strong maneuver toward increasing market position.

CoreDial announced the acquisition of Voice4Net, adding the robust CCaaS functionality sounds the charge for what could be a big year for CoreDIal. As CoreDial CEO Alan Rihm told me in an interview leading up to ITEXPO 2018, ”We already closed a deal or more, and the integration isn’t even done yet.”

The multi-phase integration process is underway with phase one, with scalability for the channel front of mind. As far as product packages go, CoreDial is delivering a complete omnichannel package, to support full communications needs – contact center, chat, voice, UCaaS, etc. There is a voice only package as well as an IVR package, both likely to see traction for those with SIP trunking in place, looking to add more. Rihm also noted that if a company wanted just the CCaaS, which would be available as well.

In addressing the CCaaS market, CoreDial gains a foothold in a $2.66 billion market, while responding to customer and partner feedback. It’s more than that though Rihm is invested in delivering long-term value.

“We’ve spent the last 12.5 yrs investing very heavily in our platform, which has been designed to help our channel succeed...over the last 24 months or so, we’ve been researching end user experiences we know that our partners wanted to deliver to consumers,” noted Rihm, and now CoreDial possesses the capability to do so. This addition rounds out the portfolio nicely, now spanning the cross section of communications.

The sweet spot for CoreDial will certainly remain Hosted PBX (News - Alert) and UCaaS in the SMB space, but the acquisition of Voice4Net offers much in the way of opportunity.

“If you’re thinking about who’s helping the channel succeed with cloud communications, we want to be in the fore of your mind,” said Rihm. Well, keep doing what you’re doing and you certainly will be.

Stay Tuned...it’s ITEXPO (News - Alert) EVE, and we’re just getting started.
