Sagi Dudai Appointed Vonage Global Chief Technology Officer

Vonage (News - Alert) has announced the promotion of Sagi Dudai to the role of global Chief Technology Officer. Part of Sagi’s new role as CTO will entail heading up the company’s technology vision, architecture, design, and supervising every part of technology development.
"With his vast experience and ability to execute on the Company's vision to transform the way our customers do business, Sagi has been instrumental in driving the development of Vonage's innovative portfolio of cloud-based products and services," said Vonage CEO Alan Masarek. "A vital member of our software engineering team for the past six years, Sagi has a proven track record for working collaboratively with all areas of the business to identify, develop and implement new products, services and technology to produce better business outcomes for our customers."
Sagi Dudai has long been a Vonage insider, joining the company in 2012 and previously served as Senior Vice President of Software Engineering. He played a core part in the creation and eventual launch of Vonage Business Cloud, designed to serve business communications need of small-to-mid market businesses.
With 20 years of technology, AI, cloud, mobile, and machine learning experience, Dudai had additional experience prior to Vonage that will serve him well in his new role. He started his career working on several classified software and hardware engineering projects for Israeli intelligence.
This work groomed Dudai for engineering leadership positions at assorted tech companies and three start-ups: Mercury Interactive, TelMap and fring (News - Alert). As of now, he will be working out of Vonage’s Tel Aviv headquarters but his prior track record demonstrates he is the proper selection for the role of global Chief Technology Officer.
