CTI Group Offers VoIP Call Recording Solution via BroadWorks Platform

CTI Group, an international provider of e-billing and analytics, call recording and call management solutions, today announced its U.S.-based operations is teaming up with communications services company Broadcore to enable the delivery of its VoIP call recording solution, SmartRecordIP through BroadSoft's (News - Alert) BroadWorks platform.

Along with advanced security, SmartRecordIP provides retrieving and archiving and a virtual user-interface with global accessibility.
CTI (News - Alert) Group explains that they have been at the forefront of the telecom industry for over 20 years, providing in-depth billing analysis and communications management applications for legacy, VoIP and mobile telephony.

Thanks to its 20+ years of telephony experience, Broadcore is able to incorporate past knowledge of customer needs with their hosted VoIP telephony service. This new hosted unified communications service is able to deliver more innovative features, due to the innate characteristics of VoIP technology, while also providing a one-vendor unified communications service that is completely hosted and managed by Broadcore.
Call recording is a crucial part of a complete unified communications service offering. However, due to the logistical and implementation challenges it brings to an IP network, call recording is often left off a unified communications providers’ component list. In order to deploy a robust and reliable unified communications solution, a service provider must build an accurate and well integrated VoIP infrastructure and choose the right technology partners.

Teaming up with CTI Group enables Broadcore to offer call recording on the company’s hosted telephony service. Because CTI Group's SmartRecordIP is Web-based it is available to anyone with an Internet connection. One major benefit of this besides being cost-effective is the call can be recorded in one location and reviewed in another.
Unlike competing solutions, CTI Group's SmartRecordIP only records the calls that are selected to be recorded. These calls can be marked before the call begins or during the call, but the calls that are not indicated to be recorded will not be recorded at all.
This means that the customer is only charged for the calls they need. In addition, the retrieval of recorded calls is much easier.
