Walpole, Mass.-based TelcoBridges (News - Alert) Inc., a hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators, solution developers and service providers today announced at TMC’s ITEXPO West 2009 its plans to help service providers deploy next-generation media gateways through a new North American distribution partner and a new customer program.
TelcoBridges is partnering with Pulse (News - Alert), Inc., a provider of carrier-grade VoIP and media gateway solutions to carriers and enterprises around the globe. With eight offices nationwide and a staff of technical experts and engineering personnel, Pulse, Inc. has earned its reputation for helping customers leverage technology to enhance their competitive positioning, while minimizing their telecommunications costs, company officials said.
“Pulse is a progressive value-added reseller who understands the technical challenges of integrating next generation platforms with existing network infrastructure,” said Bill Kelly (News - Alert), Director of Partner Alliances at TelcoBridges. “Pulse’s focus on the latest hardware and software solutions for the service provider community fits perfectly with TelcoBridges’ approach of providing energy efficient solutions that save money, without compromising on performance.”
The company will be TelcoBridges’ first North American value added distributor and it will provide installation services and around-the-clock technical support for joint customers.
“We’re adding TelcoBridges’ media gateways to our portfolio because they deliver the industry’s highest port density; they require the lowest power consumption; and they feature the lowest overall operating costs of any media gateway in a 1U form factor,” said Salvatore Costantino, president of Pulse, Inc. “This combination of performance and efficiency is ideal in today’s economy, and we’re looking forward to sharing TelcoBridges’ technology with our customers.”
TelcoBridges’ new customer program will help service providers benefit from the carrier-grade features and energy-efficient savings offered by TelcoBridges’ award winning media gateway solutions, officials said.
The new program includes financial incentives for service providers to recycle equipment and replace it with Tmedia. Company officials said as part of this program, TelcoBridges takes the responsibility to correctly dispose of replaced equipment, and TelcoBridges is also paying service providers to do it.
“As the economy begins to turn around, service providers are looking for initiatives that will allow them to generate revenues from new services and save from operational and environmental efficiencies,” said Danny P. Blouin, vice president of marketing for TelcoBridges. “This new program sets the benchmark for media gateways, and makes it easier for service providers to leverage Tmedia’s benefits. We invite service providers worldwide to contact us, or one of our certified partners, to learn more about Tmedia’s next-generation features, and to see how it differs from anything else in the industry today.”
