A Buffalo, N.Y.-based supplier of VoIP equipment has announced the launch of a new buyback program to help those with limited budgets in these trying financial times to recapitalize on existing equipment and invest in new VoIP technologies.
Officials with VoIP Supply LLC., said their new Reclaim equipment buyback program will make it possible for companies and individuals to sell their used or excess VoIP equipment in exchange for store credit or a direct payout.
Benjamin Sayers, CEO of VoIP Supply, said that as spending starts to increase with the improving economy, it is still “very tight” spending. Using the Reclaim program can help to ease the cost of investing in newer technology.
New technology like high definition or, ‘HD” voice for example, can provide great value to companies, but, according to Garrett Smith (News - Alert), director of Marketing and Business Development at VoIP Supply, “can be a tough sell for companies that just purchased new handsets a year or two ago.”
“These companies certainly realize the value in utilizing new technologies like HD voice, but are faced with budgetary limitations. With Reclaim these companies can lessen the blow of upgrading to these new technologies by reclaiming some of their initial investment in their legacy equipment and putting it towards the cost of newer offerings,” Smith said.
In addition to the financial benefits of the new buyback program, companies and individuals can also ensure that equipment is disposed of in an environmentally-friendly and secure manner.
