InPhonex Offering White-Label Services, Readies New Offers

By Paula Bernier, Executive Editor, IP Communications Magazines

Companies that want to offer Internet telephony services but don’t want to go to the trouble and investment of building and managing their own networks might want to take a look at InPhonex. The company offers white-label services, and the tools to enable its service provider customers to develop the products, bundles and customized interfaces they want to deliver to their end users.

InPhonex (News - Alert) has set itself apart from the VoIP pack since its beginning in 2003 by focusing on enabling businesses to sell its products under their own brands and in a way that is simple to execute, says Chief Marketing Officer Matt Bramson, who spoke to TMCnet this week at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East in Miami.

Also noteworthy about InPhonex’s offer is its breadth of services, says Bramson. He notes that the company offers DIDs and toll-free numbers in 75 countries, and LNP services in 15 countries, and that it delivers all of the above through a single interface.

InPhonex customers include hosted PBX (News - Alert) or on-premises-based PBX or softphone providers that want to bring a services component to their offers, says Bramson. Other InPhonex customers are outfits that provide some type of adjacent services, like hosted applications such as CRM or hosted Exchange, or alarm services.

About half of InPhonex customers are in the U.S. Brazil and Mexico are the other largest areas of business for InPhonex, Bramson says.

Next month InPhonex expects to make generally available what Bramson calls a traditional PBX married with an IVR wrapped around its own or a third-party CRM. The company is currently in beta with this intelligent call center solution, as Bramson calls it.

The company will also offer rich mobile plug ins for the above solution, which will make contact center-like communications capabilities available to every man, woman and child. An Android version of this will be available at launch, with Apple (News - Alert) and BlackBerry plug-ins available through its app stores later in March.

Want to learn more about the latest in communications and technology? Then be sure to attend ITEXPO East 2011, taking place Feb 2-4, 2011, in Miami. ITEXPO offers an educational program to help corporate decision makers select the right IP-based voice, video, fax and unified communications solutions to improve their operations. It's also where service providers learn how to profitably roll out the services their subscribers are clamoring for – and where resellers can learn about new growth opportunities.
