Patton (News - Alert), a provider of business and carrier-class network access, connectivity, VoIP and mobile video-surveillance equipment, has announced its alliance with Elastix (News - Alert), in an open source Unified Communication distribution. Promoting their mutually-certified unified communications solution, both companies are exhibiting together at ITEXPO East 2011 happening now in Miami, Fla.
The certified-interoperable Patton-Elastix platform features Patton’s SmartNode VoIP gateway-routers and interoperates with the Elastix open source iPBX and such related functional modules as call center, CRM, email and fax.By partnering with Patton, Elastix now offers its community of developers and integrators a whole new set of features and innovations that will add value to customer solutions. The integrated Elastix-Patton system delivers a complete, fully-tested unified communications solution with greatly expanded capabilities at the network edge.
Discussing its alliance with Patton, Edgar Landivar, CEO at PaloSanto Solutions and co-founder of the Elastix initiative said, “SmartNode is world-renown for stability.” Landivar continued, saying “providing not only advanced calling features for enterprises, but confidence and peace of mind for the entire community.
